1. Service Description

Validar provides AI-powered pre-submission validation of UK planning applications. Results are advisory only. Final validation decisions always rest with the relevant Local Planning Authority.

2. Important Disclaimer

Validar is an AI tool and may make errors. We do not guarantee that applications validated as passing our checks will be accepted by the council as valid. Always verify requirements directly with your Local Planning Authority.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Use is limited to UK planning applications.
  • You must not upload illegal content.
  • One account per user.
  • You must not resell the service without written permission.

4. Payment Terms

  • Subscriptions are available on monthly or annual billing cycles.
  • You can cancel at any time.
  • No refunds are provided for partial months.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Validation reports belong to the user who generated them.
  • Uploaded planning documents remain your property.
  • Validar owns the platform, software, and AI validation system.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Our maximum liability is limited to fees paid by you in the last 3 months.
  • We are not liable for Local Planning Authority validation decisions.
  • We are not liable for planning application outcomes.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
